Phil Atelist (3 out of 10 ) Odd film, and hard to rate. Basically, 2/3 of the running time it's. Sort of. Adequate. An interesting concept unfortunately padded out with the usual post-apocalyptic cliches. Also suffers from poor working out of the villains, who come across as just the kind of quasi-fascists who would have long ago set up their own terrifyingly efficient postal service (with the death penalty for using the wrong stamps). In Act 3 everything changes, and the script quite suddenly takes a turn for the utterly, gloriously preposterous- at which point it becomes much more entertaining. I defy you to even read it without giggling. I BELIEVE IN THE UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE.
